Organizing workers and providing comprehensive support to members in union administration and industrial relations, including collective bargaining, the administration and enforcement of agreements, grievance management and dispute resolution, occupational health and safety, and productivity enhancement.

These services consolidate workers’ collective voice and bargaining power, enabling the attainment of fair wages, equitable benefits, and dignified working conditions. Through these efforts, they make a substantive contribution to inclusive socio-economic development by promoting stable and constructive labor relations, enhancing workplace productivity, and advancing a more just, equitable, and sustainable society.

Designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating education and information programs for members; and, sending members to local, national, and international training programs, conferences, workshops and meetings, in cooperation with labor organizations as well as social partners.

Workers’ training and education empower members with knowledge, skills, and confidence, fostering leadership that contributes meaningfully to inclusive socio-economic development, democratic society.

ALU operates broadcasting and media platforms, including its flagship radio station DyLA (“The voice of labor”) and official social media channels, to keep workers informed and engaged. These services provide news, public service, and labor education, amplifying workers’ voices and strengthening solidarity within and beyond union membership.
